Although the following belongs to a 'right of way' deed I would like the strictly literal English meaning (rather than a legal interpretation) of the following: 'not to use the access drive for the purpose of commercial vehicles of any type whatsoever'. In a purely literal (or grammatical)sense of the phrase is it the 'purpose' rather than the 'vehicle' that is being restricted? Thanks for any help - Steve Machin
