How can I host a website in my computer? I have 125kbps connection, windowsxp system and a domain registered... but no static ip. Is there any service offering FREE dynamic to static ip conversion? I know only php. Installing php in IIS is not so user friendly. Can I install Apache and php in my windows system. Please tell me the stepwise methods to host a site in my computer.

I have a PhpBB2 board on my site. It takes administrative approval before someone is allowed to post.

I am constantly running into a problem, however, with scurrlious people listing obscene websites on the profile page.

I'm notified by email when someone registers and eliminate them manually from the site, as quickly as I can. Unfortunately, sometimes a couple hours pass by before I am alerted to their presence.

It sickens me that unsuspecting visitors might be subjected to some of these pornography links. Is there any code, or any way to prevent website links from being displayed inside the profile page?

I am intrigued by the prospect of connecting anonymously to the Internet as I travel about. There are so many things, it seems, that need to be learned about: firewalls, proxies, remailers, web-based anonymizers, public-key encryption, etc.

I just don't know where to begin?

I'm hoping someone here will offer some kind of road-map for me to follow in my search for true anonymity in the "have laptop, will travel" spirit.
