Doug grave was taking a vacation when he read about a bottomless well in a small town. he decided to visit the town and when he arrived in the town he stopped at the PO to ask for directions. When he got to the house where the well was he met a local teacher who offered a challenge to Doug.

The teacher claimed she could throw a 5 pound weight into the well no strings or ropes attached and be able to search in 10 secs. How?

The only true bottomless well is flat ground (even a small depression would create a 'bottom'). So it is not surprising that you can throw anything into the 'well' and retrieve it in 10 seconds.
