How is milk leg treated?
Discuss this question
| Question found in Disabilities |
A permanent condition known as milk leg may sometimes occur during pregnancy. It happens when valves in the veins have been destroyed and the pressure of the pooled blood causes swelling. You may need surgery to repair the damage with veins taken from elsewhere.
What can be done to prevent the condition?
Although varicose veins may be partly inherited, making certain lifestyle changes may help prevent this condition. The following activities should be avoided to help prevent this condition:
heavy lifting
standing for long periods of time
sitting with legs crossed for long periods of time
Avoidance of obesity and getting regular exercise is also advised to help prevent this condition.

How can a woman please a man in bed?
Discuss this question
| Question found in People & Relationships In General |
If he's a decent man - and if he's not what are you doing going to bed with him? - then he'll be over the moon if he's pleasing you. Men aren't as secure about their performances as they'd like us to think. If he knows he's pleasing you, he'll relax, stop the sexual gymnastics and you can both just have a good time. You need to be able to talk to him, tell him what feels good, what doesn't, guide him to please you - show him how you please yourself - that'll help hugely.
Don't do anything you don't want to just because you think it'll make him happy - that'll leave you feeling used - but try new things, experiment to see if you do like them.
And laugh, enjoy your body and his.

In Scotland more houses are sold by solicitors than by estate agents so you might be wise to check out the www.espc.co.uk and www.gspc.co.uk sites too.
The Scotsman newspaper on Thursday's last listing too.
Happy house hunting!

No. You can not be forced to take a vaccine. Many people have religious objections to injections and they couldn't be forced as it'd be discrimination.

I am in love with my cousin what should I do?
Discuss this question
| Question found in People & Relationships In General |
Does your cousin feel the same way? As far as I know there is nothing illegal about being with a cousin, so if you both feel the same way there might be no barrier to you being together - apart from your families. I think most families would feel that there was something a bit too close for comfort about a relationship between cousins, but that would depend how close the families are.
If you are going to upset your family, you'll have to be sure that this love is the real deal and not a passing infatuation. Try and see other people, go out with friends and see if you can't feel the same about another person - it would be a lot easier to not have a love affair with your cousin. It could be that the 'taboo' feeling of being in love with your cousin is heightening your feelings, but that will subside over time and you'll be left with your cousin as a partner and - potentially - no family.
I hope you resolve this without too much pain to yourself or damage to your family. Although heartache is awful at the time, it does heal with time.

In the book, The Most Dangerous Game, How did Rainsford learn the reputation of Ship-Trap Island?

| Question found in Books & Authors |
Zaroff gives him the choice - hunt or be hunted.
Sanger Rainsford is a celebrated hunter from New York City. He has trekked all over the globe hunting dangerous animals. Now he is on a yacht in the Caribbean, in search of big game. When his friend remarks that hunting is not a very good sport for the prey, Rainsford expresses indifference. "The world is made up of two classes--the hunters and the huntees," Rainsford tells his friend. That night he falls off the yacht and washes ashore on a mysterious island. Rainsford meets the island's sole inhabitant, General Zaroff. Zaroff has built a mansion on the remote island and lives there with only a servant. Zaroff is also a hunter, and he invites Rainsford for dinner while awaiting rescue. Zaroff mentions that he has hunted the most dangerous game. His island is designed to wreck ships, and the crew serve as his game. He gives Rainsford a choice: be hunted or be tortured.

Should I let my Father be in my life even though it would be dangerous because he is a criminal?
Discuss this question
| Question found in Parenting & Family In General |
It depends if you think you can trust him. To let him into your life you'd have to be able to trust him not to betray that trust. What do you think you'll gain from letting him into your life? Is it worth the risk? You can be a 'big' person by opening up and allowing him in but he must have been out of your life for a reason, that reason might not have gone away.
Sometimes it's better to have an imagined ideal rather than an actual disappointment, but if you are willing to risk it, be careful.

How is an "emotional affair" defined?
Discuss this question
| Question found in People & Relationships In General |
An emotional affair is as much of a betrayal as a physical one - more actually. It's definition is 'the end of the relationship'. If your partner is willing to have emotional intimacy with another person they no longer have respect or love for you.

My husband hasn't had sex with me in 4 years. This all stopped after my partial hysterectomy. He says this has nothing to do with the problem...He just has no sex drive...We had blood work done and it's all normal....What could be his problem?

Discuss this question
| Question found in People & Relationships In General |
I think that you should point out to your husband how this is making you feel. The rejection - especially after a partial hysterectomy - must be devastating. He's being selfish - sex is a very important part of a close loving relationship and the fact that he doesn't feel like it should point out to him that there is a problem. He's maybe scared that it'll be painful for you but there's no reason why it should be. If there's nothing physical, and he's not getting it elsewhere then you need to seek sex therapy to resort this important part of your lives together.
Good luck!
