The World's favourite airline's mission statement is "To be the undisputed leader in world travel". BA has shown that redefining the vision, and making sure it is successfully carried out throughout the organization, are keys to corporate success. As competitors became aware that service mattered and geared their processes to suit, British Airways has leaped forward again, now defining its target as being the 'undisputed leader in world travel'. This mission is, of course, wider than being merely an airline with good customer relations and service. Although with the inherent danger of being too widely defined, it is suited to an age when the face of travel is changing dramatically. Already, competition has seen airfares come down, but this has not eased competitive pressures within the air travel industry. Airlines are seeing less and less profit per person, leading to a necessity to find new ventures and hold on to existing customers through loyalty programmes. British Airways' new mission provides its management with a new mandate to be more than just an airline. In its words: 'British Airways is aiming to set new industry standards in customer service and innovation, deliver the best financial performance and evolve from being an airline to a world travel business with the flexibility to stretch its brand in new business areas.' Whether BA will branch into virtual travel is a moot point, but innovation is certainly one of the main strategies at the airline. Innovation in terms of reliable electronic bookings, new schedules, more comfortable seats, new customer loyalty programmes and new services in lounges may be more realistic expectations in the immediate term. Short-term goals will include diversification. This was hinted at by British Airways' CEO Bob Ayling: 'We cannot afford to stand still. We have to maintain our lead through even greater innovation, so we offer outstanding products and a quality of service that people will alter their travel plans to enjoy.' From an investor relations' standpoint, the new mission presents a new confidence within BA that can only be beneficial. Further, it is the signal that BA's business efficiency programme from last September and its recently conducted research about the future of world travel were not one-offs, but part of a greater vision for the new millennium. |

It's not 100% clear - but it might not be through sex. Although possibly through sex, not definitely through sex. It's caused by bacteria - there are good bacteria and bad bacteria and it's when the bad bacteria take over. Some activities or behaviours can upset the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina and put women at increased risk including having a new sex partner or multiple sex partners, douching, and using an intrauterine device (IUD) for contraception. |

Ingredients 2 Large Lion Quality eggs Pinch salt and pepper half cup cold water ( or milk or cream ) Low Calorie Cooking Spray or butter or oil Anything you want - eg herbs, cheese, ham Method 1. Gently beat the eggs together with salt, pepper and a teaspoon of cold water. 2. Warm a medium frying pan over a high heat and spray with a thin coating of cooking spray. 3. Pour the egg mixture into the centre of the pan and cook over a high heat for 1-2 minutes. Throw in the filling stuff. 4. As the egg begins to set, use a spatula to push the set egg towards the omelet centre. 5. Continue this action until the entire egg mixture is set. 6. Cook the set omelet for another minute, then loosen the edges with a spatula and fold the omelet in half. 7. Tilt the pan and slide the omelet onto a warm plate and serve immediately on its own or with a crisp green salad. Micro Tip You can also make omelette's in the microwave. Beat the eggs, water, salt and pepper. Place 1 tbsp of butter in an 18cm non-metallic pie dish and melt in the microwave on High for 30 seconds. Pour in the egg mixture, stand pie dish on an upturned plate in the microwave and cook on MEDIUM-HIGH for 1 minute. Use fork to draw the outside of the cooked egg into the centre of the dish and microwave on MEDIUM for a further 2 minutes. Stand for 1 minute before serving. Before your omelet is set, add your favourite filling such as cheese, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes or even chicken tikka Lastly there's a trickier version called a souffle omelette where you separate the egg white from the egg yolk. You whisk the whites 'til they are stiff then stir into the mixed up yolk mixture. You cook as above but transfer to the grill to cook the top. Also 'heavy' fillings such as ham don't work too well in this as they fall to the bottom, your better off with cheese. |

Went a bit further than flirting don't you think ? You don't say if you are both married. If she is married, she's decided now she's pregnant that she's going to make a life with her husband - or at least - not with you. Do you know who's the baby is? Did she have more lovers than just you? If you are married, she'll wonder if you now want her because of the baby, not her - after all you carried on an affair for 3 years without getting together so why now? It's very messy. If you really love her then you'll have to come clean - to your wife, to her husband - to families. You have to be very sure of the feelings you have to be able to upset the lives of so many people. Epic theater breaks with the Aristotelian concepts of a linear story line, a suspension of disbelief, and progressive character development. In their place, epic theater uses episodic plot structure, contains little cause and effect between scenes, and has cumulative character development. The goal is one of estrangement, or "Verfremdung", with an emphasis on reason and objectivity rather than emotion, or a type of critical detachment. This form of theater forces the audience to distance itself from the stage and contemplate on the action taking place. To accomplish this, Brecht focused on cruel action, harsh and realistic scenes, and a linear plot with no climax and denouement. By making each scene complete within itself Brecht sought to prevent illusion. A Brecht play is meant to provoke the audience into not only thinking about the play, but into reforming society by challenging common ideologies. Following in the footsteps of Pirandello, he blurs the distinction between life and theatre so that the audience is left with an ending that requires social action. |

Depends what they were infected with - but as you are pregnant you need to get tested to safeguard your own and your baby's health. With most STD's it's not a case of 100% transmission, so you might be lucky, but you need to get checked out to be sure. |
