Why when a bulb is added in series to four parallel bulbs does it cause the four parallel bulbs to go off? (using a Worcester circuit board)

Discuss this question

Question found in Physics
In a parallel circuit of any number of bulbs, each gets the same voltage. A series circuit on the other hand is a voltage divider. If 2 bulbs of the same resistance are connected in series to a 6 bolt battery each gets only 3 volt .

In your problem, for the bulbs to burn a minimum voltage is needed. When there were only bulbs in parallel which got the right voltage. When a bulb was added in series the voltage available for the bulbs in parallel was much less than what was needed for the bulb to light up.

What's the sinful part of the brain?

Discuss this question

Question found in Science In General
No part of the brain nor any other part of our body is sinful. Every part is good and important. Sin or evil comes from our ability to distinguish between good and evil and our freedom to chose either good or evil - the free will. This function is carried out by our conscience. Conscience and consciousness are not faculties of the brain but those of the soul which we humans only possess.

Comments :
oh sorry, my question wasn't ver clear. the real question is
'which part of the brain is the lying sinful part?'
