Is it necessary that I should attend an actual course on how to practice psychic healing? or could I practice on my own? |

| Most healing cases are faith healing. If you are to be a healer you must have faith in your healing power and the patient should have faith in it as well. Then healing can happen . I do not feel there is need for a course. This faith can be amplified, the power made greater by prayer/religion. |

I read an article about Buddhist meditation which stated that you have to meditate on death so you realize about the impermenance of this world and to stop procastination. How can I meditate on death? |

A senior monk in an ashram was very holy. A disciple asked him what is the secret of his holiness. his reply, "I begin everyday feeling that today is my last day." The disciple asked, "But isn't everyone supposed to know that?" The guru said, "Yes but everyone do not feel it." Meditating on death could be in many ways. The most important part is the awareness that I could die any moment now. And always be prepared to meet our Lord face to face. This awareness of impending death could transform our lives. The meditation on death could also mean time spent in solitude every morning thinking and feeling that today is my last day; am I ready to meet my judge? What should I do in the remaining short time to be worthy of moksha? And taking a decision that from this moment on I am going to be compassionate and loving too every person and the whole creation. Comments :  today i read another article on actually how to meditate on death. though your answer did give me more insight into the subject, there was actually a lot more you could have written on meditating on death. however thank you for your answer and i'll try to do what you adviced me.

If the universe is everything and it is ever expanding, what is it expanding into? |

| The universe is not everything. It is a very insignificant portion of something which is really not a thing, NOTHING from which it arose at the begining of time. Cosmologysts reffer to this as vacuumm state and consider it as an ocean of energy. Buddhists call this sunyastha and I call it God. |

I read that the universe is expanding. But what is it expanding into? What is beyond the universe? |

The fact thgat the universe is expanding is based on the observed fact that the far away galaxies and quasars are running away from us (First observed in 1927) before that it was believed that the universe is static. Few years back cosmologists believed that this expansion should be slowing down by now. But the experimental evidence showed that it is accelerating. Your question, 'what is it expanding into is interesting. The only answer is, "NOTHING". Our universe exists in a vast emptiness, an infinite void. To get a real answer we have to pass from the field of physics to that of metaphysics. i hope the following piece I had composed sometime back could explain what I have in mind. NOTHING The start of the story of our universe Creation. The first moment of creation The BeginningThe appearance of space, time and mater. What was there before this beginning? Not matter, not space, not time; then what? Nothin just Nothing! Nothing means no thing- no matter. It is not non-existence but fullness of being - fullness of existence; poornam! It is an ocean of energy, fullness of energy. Scientists use the term vacuum state to describe this NOTHING. Orientals call this Nothing sunyatha. Only sunyata can be omnipresent. According to a cosmologist, This nothing is seething with energy and particles flit in and out of existence These particles always annihilate each other all except once at the creation of our universe. Physicists are bewildered by the enormous magnitude of Its energy which controls the evolution expansion - of the universe. Everything comes from this Nothing. This Nothing that was here before creation, from which the cosmos took form, which controls the destiny of the universe, this No Thing is what we call God. Some use other names like Nonbeing, Iswar, Allah, Yahweh, Devi, Merciful Father or loving Mother. God the Creator answers to all these. |

First to come was CHICKEN In the process of evolution some form of reptiles slowly turned into birds. after that the birds/chicken laid the egg. Even if you go back to the reptiles, the reptile evolved before it laid egg. |

Yes. Vasectomy is not acceptable to the church.

Why can't I hold my breath for more than about a minute? |

| Inhalation - intake of oxygen - and exhalation - output of carbon dioxide - has to go on continuously for the life process to be sustained. Holding breath for a long interval you are restricting the respiration process, just like suffocating. Suffocation is preventing respiration and that is one of the ways of killing any mammal or bird, including humans. |

1. Cultivate self confidence - a feeling that I am some one important and that I can do things very well, if I put my mind into it. This should be followed up by actions - by sincere hard work. 2. Have a positive out look on life - In everything and everyone try and see the good aspect. Remember every coin has two sides. You opt to see only the good side of persons and things. 3. Pleasant behaviour - Treat every one you come across with love and affection as well as with confidence. Have a sweet smile for everyone. 4. Be willing to forgive anyone who hurt you. Do not keep grudges or feelings of vengeance. 5. Dress smart - choosing formal and casual clothes carefully to suit the occasion and company. Good luck. |

None of us, so called experts will be able to tell you why. But we can tell you what you can do about it. 1. In your heart, right now there is some ill feeling and hurt that they are against you. First you must think deeply to find the possible cause. Whether you succeed in this or not you must forgive each of them individually in your heart. Forget the feeling of hurt. Tell yourself that everything is alright and start a positive relationship with them. 2. If you find out that you have caused some hurt or pain by your words or actions in the past, go to them one by one individually and and ask for reconciliation. 3. Look carefully and discover all the good aspects about them. It is only the negative aspects that is before you now. Look and see the good in them. Once you see the good in them they will start seeing the good in you 4. Most important; start loving them, each one individually from the bottom of your heart. By your sweet behaviour and words, by sincere smile and loving companionship let them know you love them. Once you start loving them they will start loving you. 5. Once you start liking them they will start liking you. |
