Good question Tasha. I am assuming you want to copy files and photos onto a CD. Copying files and other media to a CD is called "burning".
To begin you'll need a CD-RW disc and a CD burning program. There are plenty of burning programs on the market like Nero, RecordNow, Ashampoo Burning Studio and SwiftDisc Burning Wizard. There is also freeware such as Deep Burner for computer back ups onto a CD.
Most of the burning programs offer free trials so you can try the program before you buy to see which one you like best. Once you have the program installed you'll need to open it then follow the instructions. Each program is a little bit different but they do follow a similar procedure.
Here's the basic procedure:
1. Insert a Blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into the drive
2. Open the CD burning program
3. Choose the type of CD you want to create - for example data
4. Select the files you want to copy
5. Burn or Copy the CD
A good CD burning program will integrate with Windows Explorer so you can do this:
1. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW in the CD drive.
2. Open up Windows Explorer and navigate to your CD drive
3. Open a second copy of windows explorer and navigate to the files you want to copy or move
4. Click and Drag the files from where they are and drop them into the CD folder
5. Operation complete! It should automatically burn the files onto the CD for you.

There are a wide array of studies on this subject. Here are the results of three:
Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Sex Research found the average penis length is 6.16 inches. The average girth is 4.84 inches.
More recent studies have produced the following results:
A sample of 60 men studied by researchers at the University of California at San Francisco determined that the average size of their erect penises was 5.1 inches long and 4.9 inches in girth.
A Brazilian urologist who measured 150 men reported that the average size of their erections was 5.7 inches long and 4.7 inches in girth.
Citing a number of different studies, sexinfo101.com details that "the average erect penis length is 5.5 to 6.5 inches, and the average circumference is 4.5 to 5 inches." source

How would you clean pipes in a water spa .i.e. jacuzzi?

Refer to the pump manufacturer's maintenance book or check with the representative.
The steps to me would be:
1- Identify the nature of the material to be removed. Is it organic or is it calcium and mineral deposits. The two are vastly different and require different methods.
2- Choose either a mechanical or chemical removal technique. Mechanical technique would include long flexible pipe brushes fed through each of the lines to loosen material. Chemical would include enzymatic drain cleaning agents.
I would avoid acids, bleaches, and lye. Check with your equipment manufacturer before pumping any chemical solutions through the jacuzzi. The pump and seals can be quickly damaged and warranty voided.
3- Be careful of damaging the jacuzzi surface either mechanically or chemically.
4- Be sure that the pump filter is cleaned or replaced. A lot of the gunk should be caught in the filter.

How should I answer "Why are you the best person for the job?"

|
| Question found in Interview Advice |
 |
You should anticipate that this question will arise in any interview. After all, that is the primary question on your interviewer's mind!
There are three steps to answering this question well.
Step 1- Understand your employer's needs. Discover the skills required in the position. Not just the skills listed in the ad or on a website. Try to discover what frustrates your potential employer and what thrills them with their employees. From these, identify skills that would be necessary to thrill the employer.
Step 2- Understand your own skills and abilities. Focus on identifying your skills, abilities and characteristics that will thrill your employer.
Step 3- Practice answering the question. I highly suggest that you write 100 answers to this question. Take the time to do it. Read through them and get a feel for which ones really highlight your personal strengths which meet your employer's needs. Read them out loud so that you hear yourself saying the words. Watch yourself in a mirror as you rehearse. You don't have to memorise anything! Just fill your mind with the best reasons that you are the one they should choose for the position! Believe it!
When you are in the interview, you will be going in as a resource for the employer. You are focusing on how you will be able to help them.
With this attitude and this preparation, your answer will shine!

I feel so comfortable around my boyfriend; he makes me feel safe and appreciated, and he says he will never want to lose me because I am like no other. I feel the same for him if not more but he says he actually feels more for me than I'll ever know. What does this mean?

When your boyfriend says that he feels more for you than you'll ever know, he is simply saying that words and actions don't convey the full meaning of his feelings for you.
Although he is showing you in lovely ways that he cares about you, he can't express it fully.
This is a wonderful state. It is important to continue demonstrating in the best ways possible. Love is expressed only in actions: Saying the things, doing the things that are always demonstrating openness, honesty, communication, respect and responsiveness.
It seems that you have a lovely relationship forming!

Hi sparkie! Glad that you have asked this question.
One of the first things to do when you feel sad or depressed is to figure out if it is depression or a sadness that comes and goes. Is it something that you should seek more help with or is it okay to just ride it out til it passes?
There are a couple of online quizzes made specifically to help you figure those questions out! Yep! You can take these quizzes to figure out what to do next. Of course, they are online quizzes, not actual doctors diagnosing you. So, be sure to follow up with a doctor if you have concerns.
Try this link first. Just cut it and paste into your browser.

Hi Carolyn! Congratulations on your interest in becoming a psychologist.
You are definitely capable of a long and satisfying career in psychology. Many counsellors practice right from their home office. You are able to continue practicing for as long as you are willing and capable. There is no mandatory retirement age.
Funding a master's degree is the only concern I would look at. If you are able to pay up front for the education, I think that is great. If you need to take out substantial loans for your education, be sure to forecast your repayments. How long will you be repaying a loan? Are you confident that you will be able to meet the repayment schedule?
These are matters for you to consider, especially when entering private practice from home. Like any business venture, draw up a full business plan even before you launch into the education phase. Make sure that you know precisely what you are getting yourself into. With a full plan in place, you will be ready and confident to take on this new career.
Warmest wishes for you!
Cheers!

Why do men look at other women even when they are currently in a relationship?
|
|
Discuss this question
|
| Question found in People & Relationships In General |
 |
Hello Charlotte,
You've posed a very good question. One that is both important and whose answer is elusive.
On the surface, if I were to take your question literally, I would simply answer that men in relationships still have eyes and see women, trees, cars, clouds and TV sets.
What I must read into your question is a little deeper I believe.
Men look at women. This is true.
Men who are in a relationship also look at other women. This is also true.
What your question implies is intent. With what intent does a man in a relationship look at other women? Is his intent the same as seeing a street sign or tree? Is it with the intent to seduce and have sex with her? That is a question that only that man in that instance can answer.
A very pertinent question that you can answer for yourself is this: "How would it affect me if my partner found others attractive physically, even sexually?" Think deeply on that.
Each partner makes a choice each moment of each day to be with or not be with the other. At any moment, you could decide to not continue the relationship. Conversely, so could your partner. With that understanding, the simple fact that each of you continues to make the choice to be together is proof in itself of a desire to be together. I believe that each partner in a relationship deserves the truth, honestly and up front.
I am quite happy in the relationship my wife and I share. We have a few basic rules that we agree on.
1- Never ask a question that you don't want an honest answer to.
2- Listen and understand before coming to a conclusion.
3- Love each other for who each other truly is at that moment, not for who we think each other should be.
4- Always be Open, Honest, Expressive, Respectful and Responsive to each other even if we think it will hurt the other.
I can comment on a woman's breasts to my wife and she comments right back about them. In no way does that reduce my desire for my wife. However, our openness and honesty about basic attraction only causes our relationship to grow. We also have another understanding:
If I choose to leave this relationship today, I only need to say so. If she chooses to leave today, all she needs to do is say so. We promise to tell each other before we ever have a sexual relationship with anyone outside of our marriage. We end our relationship which frees us to begin another with no malice, no rancor, only appreciation for the wonderful love that we have shared together. The power that that agreement has is astonishing. We have utmost trust for each other. I go out partying with whoever I like and she is absolutely comfortable with it. She goes out with who she wants and I have no doubt she is faithful. There is no ownership between us.
Getting back to your original question then, why do men look at other women even when they are currently in a relationship? I do because I find women beautiful, soft, alluring, interesting and sometimes incredibly arousing. Physically, I demonstrate my passion and love of all things sexually through making love with my wife.
Most men are quite rightly afraid to express themselves honestly because the one who is asking often is not prepared for the truth and responds very very negatively. Remember, never ask a question that you don't want to know the honest truth about.
Cheers!

Why do people clap to show appreciation of something? Basically, how did clapping come about, is it instinctive or learnt behaviour?
|
|
Discuss this question
|
| Question found in Psychology |
 |
Back slapping and clapping are essentially the same gesture. Clapping is simply remote back slapping.
Long ago and far away I learned that Shakespearean actors were patted on the back to show approval of their performances. However, audiences grew larger and it became impossible for all those who appreciated the performance to reach the performing troupe. Clapping one palm against the other became a symbolic gesture representing the slap on the back of appreciation.
"Clapping the hands together, usually once, has been a gesture of delight or encouragement since at least Chaucer's time. In 1669 we have a reference to such applause in Samuel Pepys diary: "Indeed it was very finely sung, so as to make the whole house clap her."" source
Clapping as a gesture of appreciation is a learnt behaviour. Bringing the hands together in curled fists as a joyful expression seems to be quite universal among infants, just as smiling is. However, clapping with open palms seems to be a learnt behaviour.
Interestingly enough, clapping in Tibet is used to dispel evil spirits, not to express appreciation.

Does eating mints cause infertility in men?
|
|
Discuss this question
|
| Question found in Fitness & Wellbeing |
 |
Mints causing infertility is a myth.
However, in 1996 there was a test done with male albino rats at the University of Rajasthan. The ones that were fed 2, 5 and 10mg of corn mint extract(mentha arvensis) every other day for 20 days, had lighter testes and were unable to fertilise females. However, their sexual performance and libido were not affected.
Translating this to human terms would mean that a man would have to drink 20 to 30 cups of tea brewed from this type of mint every day to get the same dosage as the rats. Interestingly enough, corn mint has a very nasty flavour and is very carefully removed from peppermint and spearmint crops. Otherwise, their pleasant flavours become polluted. Corn mint is not used in human foods or flavourings.
This is the only instance I could find to even remotely be considered the source of this myth. In fact, Mr Peter Brinsden, pioneer of in vitro fertilisation at Britain's first fertility clinic, Bourn Hall in Cambridge, says: "In 30 years of treating more than 10,000 couples, I have never heard peppermint cited as a possible cause of infertility." 1
There you have it!
Cheers!
