Sounds like an injury. She may have broken her tail. If it is limp and dragging on the ground it may need amputation. Get an xray at your vet to check. If it is a bite from another cat or say a rat it may be infected and need antibiotics.

How do these jeans make my butt look? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v501/Armadeo/011.jpg I am a really thin guy, so it's not all that easy finding a pair of jeans that fit. So I decided to go out and get a new pair of jeans that hopefully improve upon my rather pathetic butt. Simply put, analyze my butt. Tell me how well this pair of jeans help my butt out, if they do at all. Any advice would also be appreciated, especially if you could tell me a little bit about my butt in terms of what the jeans do for it, and where the jeans fall short.

You dont say your age but if you are past child bearing age a hysterectomy might be the answer. I found this a terrific relief from very heavy bleeding.

How is GM tomatoes different from tomatoes?

Discuss this question
| Question found in Food And Drink In General |
The first commercially grown genetically modified whole food crop was the tomato, which was made more resistant to rotting allowed to release the tomatoes into the market in 1994 without any special labeling It was welcomed by consumers that purchased the fruit at two to five times the price of regular tomatoes. However, production problems and competition from a conventionally bred, longer shelf-life variety prevented the product from becoming profitable.

What does it mean when told your bowels have gone to sleep? What can be done?
Discuss this question
| Question found in Men's Health |
Over-use of laxatives can cause the bowels to become 'lazy' and not work properly. If you are in reasonably good health, you should not need to take laxatives on a regular basis. A balanced diet that includes fibre, such as fruit, vegetables and whole grain cereals, and an adequate fluid intake should keep your bowel movements regular. If you do get constipated, it's worth trying to increase your fibre intake and drink more water before taking laxatives.
If this is your problem see if your doctor can help wean you off laxatives.

Are there any reactions to a tetanus shot if there is already an infection present?

| Question found in Personal Health Issues |
The incubation period varies from a few days to a few weeks. Then there's general tiredness or weakness followed by spasm of the jaw muscles (called lockjaw). Spasm of the muscles of the face can make the person appear to have a fixed grin. The chances that you have a jab when you are already infected is very remote.

My shih-tzu has six toes on his front feet, five toes and then the flappy one further up his leg. Is this normal for shih-tzus or is it a mutation and would it affect his pedigree?

I cant find anything about shihtzu's with extra toes. He is still a pedigree which he gets from his parents. The toe up his leg is his dew claw that all dogs have. He might not be show quality so maybe you were charged too much by the breeder if they didn't tell you about his feet.

Our next door neighbour owns the field that runs the length of our house at the back. There is a retaining wall that all 7 residents have to pay to maintain even though it only runs at the back of mine and my neighbours house. The top of the wall is approx 3/4 metre wide (flat) and then the field begins. He has erected a post and wire fence approx 30cm from the edge of the wall. My question is this: as he has erected this fence, can we take this as the boundary and can we therefore plant shrubs and flowers on our side of the fence in that 30cm of soil? Has he in erecting the fence 30cm away from the wall in effect lost that tiny strip and can we claim it as ours, or does it still belong to him even though it is now on our side of the fence? I would only wish to plant flowers in it. Further along the fence, we have planted up many shrubs that have been there approx 14-15 years and I wish to know that he cannot make us dig them out or get someone else to as it would require him to come onto our property to do so. What if any are my legal rights if he cuts everything down? many thanks C Davies

Where your boundary is depends on what it says on your deeds. It doesn't matter what the farmer does. He might let you use the strip for flowers if you ask him but it will always be his land to do what he wants with. I think he could ask you to remove them if he wanted too but probably wouldn't after all this time. Your problem might come if he sold the land to someone else.

You must think this is not normal male pattern baldness. If it is patchy hair loss it could be alopecia and worth seeing a specialist about.
