What medical condition could be involved when a man suddenly develops a bad odor which seems to come from the anal region? The odor never existed in the past. I do not believe this is sexual in nature. He leaves the smell on clothing and furniture. He does not seem to notice it himself. |

This could be perspiratory or fecal in nature, but normal hygiene should resolve the issue. If hygiene is adequate and the problem persists, a physician should be consulted. |

Dvd movie sound is capable of a dynamic range of over 100 decibels. Why are many of them mixed such that when an extremely loud sound is called for the sound all but disappears? The Lord of the Rings series is virtually uncompressed while King Kong is terribly compressed to inaudibility in many loud passages. I have an extreme sound system and would like to experience a 100 Db+ Range. |

100dB is horrifically loud indoors. You risk permanent hearing damage. Shouting in the ear is 110dB, a police siren is 115dB and a jet place hits 120dB. I cannot imagine why you would want something that loud in your home. Dynamic range is more important than sound pressure for "the experience". Even Dolby 5.1 with good speakers would be a far better expenditure than equipment that could handle 100dB. |

Is the meaning of "IQ" becoming underrated? I know plenty of people in sixth grade, and sometimes under (!) that have an IQ of over 100! Isn't the average supposed to be 100? It's extremely rare to have someone under 100 where I live in America. My grandmother has an IQ of 180! |

I.Q. is a measure of mental age divided by chronological age. I don't know how the answer to a math equation can be "underrated". If there were a comprehensive way to measure it, an infant could have an I.Q. of 180. Of course, at that age, it wouldn't be terribly accurate as a predictor of genuine capacity because infants develop at such varying rates in different areas and the time involved is mere months or weeks. On a Bell Curve, 100 is at the peak. It drops off equally in both directions (higher and lower). While 100 is considered "normal", it is actually between 90 and 110 that would more likely represent normal. |

I am curious why you would limit yourself to only doubling your income every year and why you would want to stop after five years. If your focus is on income mathematics, you will not be the best performer. Find out what people want and provide it. Do what you love and the money will follow. Yeah, this is a little vague, but what might work well for me may not be at all workable for you. If anyone offers you a plan to double your money, tell them you can do it easily. Fold it in half an put it back in your pocket. Money is a by-product of producing something desired by enough people willing to pay for it. If you make money the goal, you lose sight of providing what produces the money. If you focus on providing the "product" and serve your customers' interests well, the money will appear as if by magic. |

How to recognize the symptoms of hypoxia versus carbon monoxide poisoning? |

Hypoxia is a lack of oxygen. Depending on the severity, the victim may have blue lips, fingernail beds and could involve more skin areas as the condition becomes more severe. Unconsciousness and death can result if oxygen cannot be restored. Carbon Monoxide poisoning ALSO involves hypoxia, but the oxygen is replaced by the carbon monoxide. This is readily absorbed by the red blood cells as if oxygen, but it prevents absorption of oxygen. Someone suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning may appear to have normal coloration, possibly even pinker than normal. They must be removed to fresh air immediately and medical attention sought. Severe cases can be treated in a hyperbaric chamber (identical to that used to help divers recover from the bends). Will auditors always be liable to investors who rely on the annual audit, if the audit has been negligently prepared and causes the investors to suffer investment losses? |

If negligence can be proven, the auditor's bond might be called in. Prosecution might even be possible if fraud was involved. Otherwise, investors rely on all manner of information. Some more reliable than other. Unless it can be proven that the auditors intended to defraud the investors, reliance on bad or mistaken information is not terribly different than relying on the throbbing in your old aunt Tessie's bunions. Investors can be a strange lot. Finding scapegoats for their own bad decisions is right on par with forgetting those who provided good tips if they might expect a reward. |

Can they stop me from traveling out of country because of an outstanding Canada/Ontario student loan? Primarily at the airport, I already have a passport, I am on disability and am unable to repay my student loans but as the government has no sense of reason they are still holding the loans against me, which have gone to collection agencies, I have a trip planned as a gift in may to the US and I just want to be sure that I wont have any problems at the airport. As far as I know, they do not have "debtor's prison" in Canada. Unless you are under some kind of court order not to leave the country, your trip should be worry-free. |
