Buying a second hand volkswagen golf any tips or advice?

Have it checked CLOSELY by a Volkswagen-Certified Mechanic.
Depending on the price of the car, spending $50-100 on a THOROUGH review of the vehicle could save you many times that amount in repairs for "hidden" problems. They can tell you things that you can use to negotiate a lower price.

My ex bf and I have been broken up for almost a year now, but lately I've been thinking about him alot and I've been having dreams about him and I kinda look for him at school.. what does this mean?

You may have broken up as a couple, but it seems that you haven't completely let go of him just yet.
The pain is part of the process. Learn from it, but MOVE ON or you will only waste time wondering what could have been.
What REALLY could have been is that you've missed other relationship opportunities that might have worked out. It died, you didn't. Move on.
This may SOUND cold, but it is reality. Wallow in the dreams and miss opportunities. No one wants a new relationship with someone who is still dreaming of an old one. They will drop you like a hot rock. Now, you have TWO dead relationships. Let him go...

My doctor believes that I may have neuropathy. My boyfriend thinks this is a contact disease or can be caught through sex. I don't believe this is true because its a nerve problem I think is hereditary. Who is right? I am healthy other then carpal tunnel and knee aches.

You are correct, it is a nerve condition, not a contact disease. Mostly caused by organic dysfunctions such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis and others (none of which are caused by venereal or other infectious diseases).

I live in Ledyard, CT About 3 years ago I signed a leasing contract for a vacuum cleaner costing about $1500. I was unable to make any payments on this product. Now after 3 years I am finally hearing something and its that the company is signing an affidavit to have a warrant brought against me for grand theft. I called the police department and they told me that there is no grand theft or larceny in CT just different degrees of larceny. And that they would have to come after me in small claims. Is this true?

You have to read the terms of your contract. Breach of a finance agreement is not a criminal action. Their threat is empty. They can swear out any kind of affidavit they wish, but that doesn't mean they will get their arrest warrant.
At this point, you are ONLY in breach of the contract terms. They could sue to recover the money you owe or their property.
Check the laws in CT. Many states limit conciliation (small claims) actions to two years after the plaintiff knew or should have known about the loss. If your contract is three years old and they are just now contacting you, it is very possible that they cannot even sue you.
If you LEASED the vacuum cleaner, they probably still own it. If they call to recover it, arrange to make it available to them (you do not have to ship it or drive it to their location), give it back AND GET A RECEIPT.

I have been to the Dr. and a Specialist and even had an MRI to find that nothing appears to be wrong. I have had this ringing in my ears for 6 weeks or more now and it is usually more in the right ear than in the left. Often it is associated with dizziness and nausea sometimes vomiting. I have a moderate to severe headache and neck ache most of the time. The Specialist ruled out Benign Positional Vertigo because the dizziness happens mostly with just eye movement.

This could be as simple as a mild food allergy to a sensitivity to mold growing in your walls.
Many of the symptoms you describe could also relate to tobacco use.

If a landlord passes away and a bank has a hold on all the land, even where the tenant is living ( a single family mobile home ) is the bank responsible like a landlord would be? and can the bank evict the tenant?
|
|
Discuss this question
|
| Question found in Legal Other |
 |
It depends on whether or not the deceased landlord had willed the property to an heir. If the heir assumes ownership, they will be responsible. Otherwise, if the lender seizes the property in lieu of repayment, they will become responsible. In many cases, banks that finance rental properties have management agencies to take care of the property and collect rents. The property is more easily sold by the bank if it already has tenants.
If the bank seizes the property, they own it for security interest and have no obligation to observe the lease. Yes, you can be evicted, but not without due process as it is observed in your area (they cannot simply padlock you out of your home).

Is a landlord responsible for getting rid of an infestation of rats in a single family mobile home?
|
|
Discuss this question
|
| Question found in Legal Other |
 |
In most cases, yes.
However, if the infestation can be proven to have resulted from unsanitary conditions caused by the tenant, the tenant could be held liable for the cost depending on the terms of the rental agreement and the laws in your area.

I am over a week late for my period, have been feeling sick for the last 2-3 weeks, have taken 2 pregnancy tests and they have come up negative, feeling tired all the time and very emotional, any ideas?

Many home pregnancy tests are not very accurate until six weeks following conception. Even physician's tests are not always accurate this soon.
In the meantime, take care of your health as if you are pregnant. The earlier to do this, the better it is for the baby. If you're not pregnant, you will have done yourself no harm.

How can I legally get my husband out of my home while filing for a divorce? He will not leave and he is very angry.

| Question found in Divorce Law |

This depends on where you live (you don't say). Many countries' divorce laws can provide for protective orders if you (GENUINELY) fear for your safety.
This could backfire, though. Depending on the circumstances, the court could order YOU to leave the house and find other accommodations.
All things considered, this might be the easiest alternative. Make certain that your attorney concurs before you take any action or your could be considered to have "abandoned" the property. If your serious about proceeding and don't have an attorney, get one. BEFORE you do anything!
Comments :
Thank you for your answer. I should have mentioned that I live in Massachusetts and that I have three children living at home also. I will make sure I speak to an attorney before I do anything.
