Discuss this question

Question found in Mysteries & Enigmas
It apparently comes from your clothing. If you have an "innie" belly button, you're more likely to collect the lint. Some non-scientific research was done on this in 2002. You can see the results here...

We Christians know that in the book of Leviticus 11 : 7, it says not to eat Swine (Pork, Pig) meat or touch the dead body. Where in KJV of the Holy Bible, the Old and or the New Testament does it say its OK or Permission to eat Swine?

Discuss this question

Question found in Bible Studies
In Acts, chapter 10, God send a vision to Peter giving him permission to eat "unclean" animals. The double meaning is, as Peter later explains, that God does not show favoritism between Jew and Gentile. All people who believe that Jesus is their savior are acceptable to God.

Go to this page:

Select Codecs Installation Packages from the first dropdown list.

Then click the appropriate Download button (probably the first one) and install what you download. If you need help installing this, it is probably best to have someone help you in person.

What is the circumference of the Earth?

Discuss this question

Question found in Geography
The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 kilometers). But, if you measure the earth through the poles the circumference is a bit shorter - 24,859.82 miles (40,008 km). This means the earth is a tad wider than it is tall, giving it a slight bulge at the equator. This shape is known as an ellipsoid or more properly, a geoid (meaning earth-like). [From about.com]
