I am 20 and in two months will have a full time, high paying job. For almost the last year I've been constantly thinking about having a baby with my partner. I know family and friends would think this idea crazy. I know I'm young but I feel so ready and so excited every time I think about it. Is this enough reason to make such a huge life decision?

Since you call him your partner, I am going to assume you are not married. When you are ready to make the commitment to marriage, then you are ready to make the commitment to having and raising a child and not before.

20 is not automatically too young for all this, but it is at the low edge of what should be considered an acceptable age. Go with your job for a while. Not that you need a lot of money to get married and raise a child, but it is an experience you may wish to take the time for now. Once you have a child, you may not have a chance at the job, at least not in the same way.

I always suggest that mother's raise their children at home themselves (that is, with their husbands) until the child is of school (kindergarten) age. I do not even recommend pre-school because there is nothing that can match the care of a good mother which is something you seem eager to be.

Did Paul ever care much for the Jews religion?

Discuss this question

Question found in Bible Studies
Yes.

As Saul, he was very zealous for his religion.

"And Saul was there, giving approval to his [Stephen's] death.

On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison."

He thought he was doing what God wanted by destroying followers of Jesus.

Later, as Paul the Apostle, he was just as zealous, if not more so, for the Christian religion.

The only circumstance where you might say he didn't care for the Jews religion was when, as Paul the Christian Apostle, he disapproved of the Jews who refused to see Jesus as the Promised One, the Savior of all mankind.

You are sitting at a bar, a bar you usually feel comfortable in, you order your drinks and all of a sudden you start to feel a little uneasy, you then realize there is a guy near by who has obviously had too much to drink and is staring at your girlfriend with a look in his eye that tells you he is a trouble maker and it won't be too long before he starts. What is the best course of action for you to take as you really don’t want a confrontation with a guy like this? Is there a text book way of dealing with awkward situations such as this?

Question found in Miscellaneous
Leave.

Go for a walk. Watch a movie. Play a game. Staying is like asking for trouble. The bar will be there tomorrow, the drunk probably won't be, and you'll still be in one piece.

Comments :
I agree if you stay you are asking for trouble.

My husband of almost 20 years left 3 years ago to PA and was ordered by Florida to pay $271 a month as of 6/1/2007, which includes back support for those three years. Our daughter is 17 and had a baby and he wants to stop payments. He has only paid one. She will be 18 in May, however, she is debating on living in CA with the father of the baby and her dad doesn't want to pay another dime. Is there a way, if I sign a paper with the court, that even if she lives in CA and I live in Florida, that she can still collect the money owed to her, as she is going to need it? I don't want it for myself and it is only a couple more months until she is 18.

I think you need a lawyer to answer this officially. There may be one here, but it would probably be easier to find one elsewhere.

My apologies if I'm wrong, but these questions sound suspiciously like a schoolwork assignment, and we don't answer those here. If so, wouldn't the answers be in a science textbook?

I will give you this much to start with related to the first question especially:

Can anyone help me please? my problem is with 3d shadows in any printed documents and on screen I'm not sure how it happened but I'm not able to undo it, any advice will be appreciated!

Discuss this question

Question found in Computers In General
No offense, but are you seeing everything with shadows or only documents on your computer and in print? Do others see the shadows too?

It would be very helpful to know which program you are using. Is it MS Word? If so, go to the Format menu and select Font. Make sure the Shadow option box is not checked. If it is checked, click it to uncheck it, then click the OK button.

Comments :
Hello,

I'm using wordpad at the moment and don't have that option to uncheck. The shadows occur when I'm printing any documents and only with black ink when I do the same document in color theres no shadow and yes others can see as well, can you help?
