How to read some one's thought? |

Scientists are attempting to do just that, or so they think. ;) The nearest that we can get to reading people's thoughts is by being able to read their behaviours. By understanding some of them you can see what they maybe feeling. The more interesting question is why would you want to, it nearly sent Mel Gibson crazy in the film "what women want". You have a cold my friend, you may also have a bacterial throat infection. Visit a chemist/doctor and get some rest, drink plenty of water/juice and lay off tea/coffee for a while. Stay in doors and gargle with warm salty water. Take care |

If your symptoms have lasted for longer than a week and you have tried over the counter medicines from a chemist then my advice would be to seek medical help from a doctor. If you don't you risk long term damage to vital systems in your body and worse. Take care |

There's this guy I like who is in a relationship, yet he leads me on. How do I get him to open up to me and tell me exactly how he feels? I don't wish to just come out and say it because I'm afraid I'll lose his friendship as well as anything else. Are all guys like this? |

Everyone is like this, not just us males;) You need to ask yourself searching questions before asking him what he thinks. Why him: He's not the only fish, are you only friends with him cos you fancy him and you hope one day he will be available? Is he the lazy & safe answer to your needs? I would suggest that you examine your motives before possibly ruining his relationship, which maybe a good one for him on the oft chance that you and him may have a better one. The other option is too wait for them to split, but even then it is fraught with dangers, he may come to you as a friend but you will have other plans. Which ever way you play this you run the risk of losing a friend, your call! Take care |

What do I need to do for my 5 year old high fever? |

Stating the obvious here but have you spoken to your doctor? If the child's temperature is only a couple of degrees over normal then some child fever medicine may help, but the bottom line with children is the more quieter they are the more ill they are likely to be so seek medical help if you are concerned. I'm 29 years old and I haven't started my period in 3 months. I have taken alot of pregnancy test all negative what could be wrong? |

If you have had regular periods up until now then it could be anything. Your first port of call is to visit your doctor who will talk you through any family history to help eliminate serious possibilities. One of the possible causes is stress but 3 months is a little long for that to the main reason now. If you are on the pill then that again may be a possible cause as can not eating properly or having any eating disorders. Most of the possible reasons why you haven't started are harmless but you do need to be checked out for your own piece of mind. Take care |

That would depend on whether you had any history or on your present circumstances. If you are normally healthy and you do not have any other symptoms, then I would ask you if your sleep patterns are OK. If you have any stress at the moment etc. If your answers matched my theory then I would suggest that you maybe having some form of anxiety attack? I have several very painful splinters embedded in my fingers. It is from treated wood mulch. There are layers and layers of all sort of different foreign things coming up out of my skin. Help Please. |

I would have a chat with a work nurse or doctor because we cant see how bad it is on here, it may also be worth checking out if you need any preventive injections. Do you not have protective gloves to wear? You could soak your hands in warm salty water to help loosen the skin and keep any infections at bay. This will also help when you try and remove any foreign particles as well. In situations like these prevention is 9/10s of the cure so you should seek advice from the health and safety officer, if you have one, at your place of work. I wish you well |

Can anyone recommend anything that they have found helpful for frequent urination? I also have stinging at the end of weeing, antibiotics haven't helped. Has anyone found that Chinese medicine or herbal remedies work ? |

It does sound like Cystitis, what antibiotics were you prescribed? I would seek further advice from your doctor who may suggest that you take tests to try and isolate the cause. As far as Alternate medicine is concerned, give it a go, but you may want to see if they do them in tablet form as I've heard that they are not the most pleasant form of medicine. ;) Take care |

There maybe a way, but I'm not sure if i would condone anyone trying to do so. The risk that people could be harmed, including you, would be too great. I would suggest that you take this type of question to somewhere else. |
