Well your lucky, it is usually the bloke who forgets the wife's!
How the world is changing. Have you forgotten hers?
If this is the first time and she usually remembers then she may just be distracted so ask her if you can help with any thing.

How long does vertigo last after getting on the medication usually?

Oooohhhh, I love these types of questions......
Why are you asking? Have you been on them for at least one week and you have felt no improvement? OK two weeks then?
What condition has your doctor told you have, or to be more precise what one have you told him that you have?
What medication have you've been given?
Teasing aside, Vertigo can be controlled without the need for drugs, either way
take it easy and let them do their job. Keeping still and no sudden movements will help.

Lets take this from the top and as usual ask the obvious.
Are you wearing tight fitting garments? Is your watch strap too tight? Do you live somewhere very, very cold and don't bother wearing gloves?
If the answer is yes to any or all of the above then read no further and sort it out.
If the answer is no and there are no obvious reasons why you are experiencing this symptom then please go and see your gp/md asap.

Why is the Moon White?
|
|
Discuss this question

 |
The short answer is that it isn't white, it only appears that colour due to sunlight reflecting off it's surface, and the answer to your next question is, we don't have to be able to see the sun for it to be able to be at the correct angle to reflect off the moon.
This is also the same reason why we can see the moon and the sun in daylight as the sun is at the correct angle to be able to reflect off the moon.

Usually, when I am dreaming, it is like watching a movie where I can only see and hear what is going on. But, recently, I've been able to actually "feel" things. It's not emotions that I feel, though I feel those too, but it's every touch and movement, and, sometimes, I can use all five senses. In real-life, you can feel someone touch your arm, right? Well, I can feel it in my dreams too. And sometimes I can feel hot, cold, wet, and dry. I've never had these abilities in my dreams until this year. I know that it's not lucid dreams because I don't realize that I am dreaming. Can you somehow explain to me what is going on?

Hello there,
I don't think a dream to be lucid just has to be if you know you are having it. If it feels real and you are experiencing it on a different level, to me at any rate, would still be classed as lucid. The bigger question here is why are you having them now, and only within the last year? So, has anything changed, have you found religion? Have you turned 40? Maybe you are just getting the right amount of sleep for you?
Dreams have always held some mystical abilities in folklore, and I believe that they hold the answer to the biggest mystery of all: Deja vu.
What is now becoming apparent is that with insufficient sleep we don't act or perform to our best. Maybe dreaming is our filter that lets us put the world into perspective and we need that even more in this day and age.
I won't waffle on here but if you wish to add to this thread then that may help us explore your very interesting question.

I have just searched for this condition on the net and I can not find anything that matches. Can you provide more information as to the symptoms and check that you have used the right initials?

Then how would the casino make a profit?
If no one won then what would be the point in playing?
The odds are always against the player but while there is hope we will spend our money.

I understand what you are saying but I am more interested in the maths side, the house has a slight advantage but I can not see it mathematically.

I get the feeling that some of the other recent questions on Simply are from you as well?
I also get the feeling that you have just come out of a relationship which hasn't ended happily. Not your first I wager. Welcome to this glorious club which we are the founders of. It's name is...... (Fan Fare)...........
The real world! You will now have three phases to endure and then look forward to the rest of your life being happy.
Firstly: Anger, self pity, shame, guilt, more anger.........
Second: philosophy, "We both may have had faults", "It Just wasn't meant to be", etc
Thirdly: "Well f@@@k him, I am not going to let this ruin the rest of my life, if he can't see and enjoy my good points then blow him", Etc!
When you have gone through those stages, a couple of times in some cases, you will start to make sense of who you are and what you REALLY want? And that is when the fun starts, because at first you can't possibly know as you will only know the old you and not the real you. You will have to learn who that is by asking yourself direct and logical questions. But they will only come from exploring your past. When you are ready you will know, don't enter in to any new relationships until you have a clear image of who you are and what you want.

But have you?
There is an old proverb that says" we should always look to our pasts to make sense of our futures".
If you are predisposed or preprogrammed to find certain behaviours familiar then as people we will invariably follow that route. The challenge you now face is breaking the chain. The first place you need to look for answers is your behaviour, how you perceive yourself isn't always how others will see you, depending on what they are looking for. You maybe a little inconsistent which may manifest itself by you showing vulnerabilities one minute and then hiding them the next. You could in common speak be a tease, so you come across as not really knowing what you really want, which is every mans nightmare. Decide, vulnerable or tough, get what you want or give what others want, compromise seldom works. There are men who want to be controlled and there are men who want to control, and obviously vis versa.
What really floats your boat? Then take it from there.
Best of luck
