Discuss this question

Question found in Health & Fitness In General
That he should be asking a doctor.
It could be anything from a form of chronic fatigue syndrome or anxiety attack to something more serious. We can not tell you because we do not have access to enough data to be able to reach a conclusion.

Get advice and then come back if we can help more.

I fell down some stairs about a month ago and immediately had a huge lump appear on my head. It has since gone down, now to about the size of a golf ball, however it is still incredibly painful. I had a CT scan and the results came back abnormal. I have soft tissue thickening outside of my skull and the great vein of galen is out of place with swelling around it. I'm just wondering what happens now and how these injuries are treated?

I don't understand why you have not been given a full explanation about your condition? Do you suffer from epilepsy or any heart conditions?
How old are you?

We are the last port of call on here and we would need to know a lot more about you then you have told us thus far.

Go back to the hospital or your doctor and ask them what this means for you exactly if you get stuck get them to write it down and either email to me direct or post it on here but whatever happens go back and get advice now.

Take care

I've been experiencing a strange phenomenon. Even when I'm alone I feel strangers are watching me. It's very stressful. I need an explanation and advice on how to handle this? Help.

Discuss this question

Question found in Miscellaneous
We know how you feel but a hint as to why you are feeling paranoid is that you are stressed. I suspect that something is happening in your life that is causing you these symptoms. Has anything changed at work? How about your private life? Even the fear of being ill enough that could prevent you from working could also lead to your "Self Fulfilling Prophecy" coming true.
You need to take an objective and logical step back from your life and see where the problem maybe hiding. Once you have found it and put it into perspective then your paranoia will disappear and you will feel a lot less anxious.

Have a think about it and come back to us if you still need mine/our help.

Regards

I want to join the prison service and have done for a number of years, I have been successful with my application and have to attend for an assessment day this week. My husband is dead against the idea and will not discuss it at all with me, he has given me an altermanton that I choose to go for the interview or him as if I go to the interview then he will leave me. Help I really want to do this but he will not see my side of things. Do I just go and lie to him?

Discuss this question

Question found in People & Relationships In General
No, lying will only make the situation worse in the long run.
The solution is to find out what his real problem is, and his first answer maybe a disguise. He may feel defensive so I would keep asking him what his concerns are until your female intuition says you have the truth.
His actions do seem very extreme and dare I say it, even emotional in content. I would have to say that the shoe is on the other foot as it would have been the other way around a decade ago, how times have changed.

When you have found out what the "soppy date's" problem is then reassure him that it is a safe environment with good promotional prospects as you would be very good at it and you will have time to spend with him and you will also be a lot more satisfied and happy, don't forget to take a breath during that last paragraph. :)

I wish you all the best.

Kind regards

Can women be put on the front line in the British army?

Discuss this question

Question found in Security & Surveillance
No, although I am happy to be corrected.
In most civilized countries that is still classed as a no no. What bothers me is that in some middle eastern countries, as well as others, seem to also allow their children to bear arms. Unless that is only me who has a problem with that.

I have a 3 year old little boy, when he laughs he gets severe hiccups that nearly make him sick, he gets very distressed, it happens every time he has a good laugh, what can be done with this?

Discuss this question

Question found in Health & Fitness In General
Ban him from reading, hearing or seeing anything funny! The only thing that he is allowed to watch will be party political broadcasts, but not, for obvious reasons, from the raving loony party.

It may just be a phase or it could be a form of anxiety but to be safe speak to your doctor to rule anything out that we may not know about.
Please try and not get to protective which may make him feel more insecure, so try and be reassuring and comforting and upbeat.

I wish you all well.

My sons face has swollen, bright red cheeks, nose bridge swollen, eye lids swollen, cheeks hot to the touch, slight rash on upper arms, no discomfort. What can it be?

Discuss this question

Question found in Health & Fitness In General
A visit to the doctors, if you haven't already!
It sounds like some form of infection or an allergic reaction to something, like washing powder or soap?
If you have changed to a different brand then change back or stop using it until it has been eliminated as a cause.

I suspect it won't be too serious when you have found out what it is so try not to worry too much.

Take care

How do you know if you have appendicitis?

Discuss this question

Question found in Health & Fitness In General
I'm afraid if you had appendicitis or worse still a burst one then you wouldn't be asking on here you would be straight down to the doctors or hospital.
So why don't you tell us what your symptoms are, if any, and let us tell you or if you are concerned then seek medial advice now.

My husband has this pain under his belly button just above his hair line inside his tummy. He had this pain for about three to four days now??

Discuss this question

Question found in Health & Fitness In General
He needs to get it checked out to be sure but the following may help alleviate anything serious.

Does it hurt when he urinates? Does he get stomach cramps? What other symptoms does he have, if any?

It could be anything from a urinary infection to painful wind. So go and see a doctor and see what they say.

I have an 18 month old that I stupidly chose not to vaccinate after I read all the hype regarding immunizations. Well now I have smartened up and would like to get him caught up on all his shots. How do I go about doing this without the Dr. thinking I am a horrible mom? Is it even possible to catch him up?

Well done to you!

Go to your Gp/practice nurse and have a chat I would have thought that better late than never would be far better than never at all.

What changed your mind about the mmr jabs?

Kind regards
