Sometimes when I fill in a form on the net, my computer asks if it can save the information on the form and sometimes it does not. How do I get it to ask the question from sites that it is currently ignoring?

You can enable this option under the options or settings within your browser. Be careful about allowing your PC to save this data all of the time. Firefox is great for security but Google, (a great service), for example, will lock onto your computer as most others will and begin to recognize your patterns. With Google it is usually OK and it is actually helpful sometimes but you don't want that to happen with just any site.

Using a program like hijackthis or ccleaner seems to work very well with firefox but you must "clean" your history with them on a regular basis preferably after each online session. It only takes a few seconds. You will be surprised at all of the data being stored without your knowledge.

Technology as come a very long way in the last 10 - 15 years or so. Ipods, digital cameras, mobile phones with videos on them that can access the internet and cars with built in navigational systems in them etc.

Twenty years ago it would have been hard to imagine some of the technology that is available to a lot of people today. Technology will always progress, but can it continue to progress so fast or is it reaching near its peak for the time being?

Wasn't it Bill Gates who said " I don't see any reason for a computer to ever need more than 1 megabyte of RAM"? Just when you think you've seen it all, someone reinvents the wheel. It's gonna get smaller, faster, cheaper and more complex but it will be a long time before we can get to the International Space Station with out uncertainties. I am sure that NASA will remain one of our best resources for invention which eventually makes it to the general public.

Is the lack of selfishness a form of self-realization?

Discuss this question

Question found in Spirituality In General
Yes. You are also on your way to a lot of possibilities. Once a person learns better to understand others and turn it inward to analyze and better your positive attributes, you can become a very powerful inspiration to everyone you know or meet. This is something assumed and even admired by others but not always practiced correctly because they haven't quite figured out yet what you have already. The payback for this is immeasurable but you will eventually see it if you haven't already. The only problem with being unselfish is the people you must watch out for who will mistake it as being naive and try to take advantage of you. Too bad it's this way but the good does overcome evil........always.

Let's imagine that both God and Satan exist. Let's also imagine that Satan manages by some mean to defeat God. Then Satan claims to be the true God while he also claims that God is Satan. Humans end believing this, Satan is worshipped as if he was God while the actual God is thought of as the bad one. Can this scenario be what is actually going on?

And history repeats itself once with Hitler now with Iran's leaders. They know why they are doing this but they assume the religious of us don't have a clue. How terribly wrong they are. A good book to read would be "Jerusalem Countdown". I have mentioned it here before but I am not by any means a salesman for the book. It does deal with the world events as they stand and a little more on what is to come. Maybe it will explain to you some relevant questions as the one you have asked here.

What are the benefits of wiring a set of Christmas lights in a parallel circuit?

Discuss this question

Question found in Inventions
Safety. The instructions on the light box will tell you the recommended limit to wire in series. Try to stick to that if at all possible since fire is not a welcomed guest to anyone this Christmas or any other time.

How can I start a Rock and roll career?

Discuss this question

Question found in Rock & Roll
Try Bandmix.com and ask around. There are many musicians, local, studio and professional and you will get the idea there. It's a long road if you aren't already aware but there can be exceptions if you are that person. I have played for many years both professionally and in studio but my favorite is playing alone with my guitar.......it is most rewarding for me anyway. I hope this helps.

I have been recently turned down for Social Security disability. I am thinking about retaining a law firm by the name of "Binder and Binder".

My question: have you ever heard of this law firm/are they reputable?

Discuss this question

Question found in Legal Other
I have heard about them but don't know their history. Personal experience has shown me that if you will ask your friends, they will recommend a good local attorney who specializes in this and it may be more convenient for you than with a regional or national firm. There's nothing wrong with a large firm but they can't really offer you anything different than your local attorney can since the fees are already predetermined by the government anyway. I hope this helps and good luck.

Pick up an attachment that will fit you air supply from your local hardware store. In my case, I went to walmart and got the attachment to the hose from my air compressor.

I am a smoker and am planning on cutting down soon (have been for years just not never got round to it!)

My question is to other smokers. How do you feel about the banning of smoking in public places such has pubs clubs etc.

This has already been done in Ireland and I have heard that some pubs have suffered a lot of trade because of this.

My own view on this is that even though I enjoy a drink I don't think that I would mind going outside for a smoke if it come to it. After all, all the smokers would be in the same boat and it might even make me cut down a little.

I am interested to know what other smokers think to a ban of smoking in public places.

Question found in Issues & causes
As a smoker, I have set a goal to quit and will as planned. My reason(s) are for my Grandson, my health and financially. The smoking ordinances are targeted at smokers by non-smokers who don't understand how you can become addicted to tobacco. They will provide you a place to drink, allow you to eat in their establishments, but will fine you if you are caught outside in many places. This is not fair to target one group even though the intent is meant well.

I cannot blame my habit on anyone but myself. I choose to quit on my own and without someone else,(who most likely has a far worse addiction to one of many other bad things), telling me what, when and where to do it. I do respect that their hearts are in the right place when thinking of suppressing smoke for the health benefits of those who don't. Respectfully.
