I have a 1997 Hyundai Accent, the check engine light came on and the car sputtered a lot....had the cat. converter removed, not required here, the car was fine for 2 days, now light is on again, but so far no sputtering or smell of sulphur (like 1st time, forgot to add that) what do I do now? We have to have this car for cancer patients treatments 2 hr drive from home.....help! |

| If you've removed the sensor near the cat converter, it will register a reading on the autos computer and try to compensate for the faulty reading by making the fuel mixture too rich or too lean and will deposit large amounts of carbon onto the internal parts. The problem you are having is quite common if the vehicle is burning a richer mix of fuel and causing the bad smell. I would need more info to elaborate more. I hope this helps. |

I have a small AM transmitter known as a talking house radio transmitter which comes with a 10 ft wire for the transmitting antenna. I have tried several different positions in my apartment for placement and still can't get even 100 ft range out of it. I have tried several units at different frequencies with no better results. Is there an easy or inexpensive way to just get at least 30 more feet of range out of the unit? A special antenna? or longer antenna or increased voltage power supply? or something |

| Be sure to know your FCC rules before modifying a transmitter beyond it's design limits. The attic if you have access will sometimes produce better results. Also know where nearby frequencies within the design frequency of your device is being used. They can cancel each other out if too close. Consider large metal objects, aerial and underground power distribution lines, etc., as possible obstructions. Too strong of an unwanted signal can produce very angry neighbors so be very careful. Consider your question. You work all day and there's nobody to watch after your new dog. If it's a puppy, he will need supervision constantly. If it's an older and more adapted dog all he will need, generally, is a secure area such as a fenced back yard and a few days of adjustment to his environment. Don't put him there and expect it to automatically happen. Fresh resupply of food, water and an easily accessible shelter are required and you have to be certain that he will have access to this at all times, especially while you are away. Do not put him on a chain or leash tied to a fixed location until you can watch him and see that he has plenty of room to move around and won't hurt himself or others. He has to show you that he is comfortable about it all before you leave him on his own. I have had many dogs at home while at work. They all react different to this and it is a great experience coming home from a long day to your dog and know he has been well. He will tell you in his own way if something isn't right or uncomfortable to him. Just be attentive and care about his well being. |

We've been studying that theory since Einstein, a great man, but it might actually be possible in the distant future, it's just that no one has quite figured it out yet. Light speed is a relative term used for complex calculations regarding light travel itself. It's not possible for man to travel at that speed yet even if he had a vehicle to do it. With great speed comes high temperatures, etc. Scientists have been working on teleportation for a long time, the only problem is that it would kill a living organism if they tried it. With our technology today, you would be safer by having an mri and bounce it off a satellite to a fax machine |

Could any expert out there tell me of some good quality 200 watt speakers for a P.A system? I want them to be as light and compact as possible whilst retaining excellent response across all frequencies. Any suggestions? |

| Tosh makes a good 200 or 250 watt 8 channel PA head. The speakers were made by Crate but they were used and I don't know if they even make them anymore, however, if you don't have one of those huge music stores in your community, I am sure you can find some on Ebay. There are many, many compact PA speaker systems out there and just because they rate at a high wattage doesn't mean that they won't handle a low wattage. I am used to systems with 4800 to 5000 watts and even the monitors have a good quality sound when you crossover your output signal correctly. I hope this helps you. |

The output logic swing of ECL gates varies from a LOW state of Vol = -1.75 V to a HIGH state of Voh = -0.9 V with respect to ground. If positive logic is used when referring to logic "0's" or "1's". Then Typically "0" = -1.75 V = LOW = False "1" = -0.9 V = HIGH = True it's also highly dependent on which application you want to use it. The other's have similar distinctions??(lack of a better term), which are too much more complicated for me to explain here. Grab an engineer's notebook from radio shaq and you will discover what I mean. I hope this helps. |
