If you are a person with moral character now and didn't know better then, what the use of answering your question? You would be encouraging all pedophiles to look at them for what reason? Sexual offenses against children make up a significant proportion of reported criminal sex acts. Do you want to be responsible for adding fuel to the fire just for money? If you did this, then it will be no different than someone else taking a picture of an under age child and posting it on the internet................which IS a crime.

I have a 90 Chrysler Labaron, high mileage. Experiencing problems with the Engine bucking after about a half hour of driving. It has a lot of mechanics scratching their heads. after it sets for about an hour it runs great, smooth. It has happened a number of times. I ruled out bad gas, timing, transmission, just had a tune-up but still doing it. Can it be a computer problem, or sensor, and one mechanic said it could be a grounding problem? But why would it run smooth when it sits for about an hour? its not running hot, temperature is normal, alternator voltage is in the normal range.

Intermittent problems are the toughest to fix. Think of it like this......when you have a loose electrical connection and it is warm, and the connection is working, all is well until it gets cold or wet. The connection will separate and won't work at all like it is supposed to. When it heats back up, it expands and makes a better connection, making it run normally. Some problems like these are related to the distributor cap, fuel line and vapor lock, fuse assemblies, relays, electric fuel pump, ignition switch, loose ground at almost any level, and so on. This also sounds much like an automatic choke, idle air control valve or fuel heater, depending on the car. Good luck.

I had an on the job injury Jan.30, 2005, (at the time my employer did not have a workman's comp policy on me) that resulted in surgery on my lower back on April 13, 2006. I had multi level fusion, 6 titanium screws and 2 titanium cages put in my back. I got a lawyer with a contingency fee plan. I am a 39 yr. old woman at the time of the injury I had just turned 37. I had a permanent partial disability rating of 45% the Ins. company only wants to give me 20%. I'm not concerned w/the money I want medical, someone to pay for the next operation that I have been told I will need in 5-10 years. I don't think my lawyer is even fighting for this, how do I go about getting this?

Legal cases like these take time and it always seems that the attorney isn't doing anything, but he is. This can take as long as 4 years and even longer in some cases. You didn't indicate where you were located so your legal options could be different than most other places. For instance, an employer in the US only has to have a certain number of employees before he is required to carry workman's comp. This does not mean that he may not be liable for the medical bills but it only means that he may not have had the insurance to cover himself in an employee injury.
I too know a little about this since I am expecting future surgeries and have much titanium hardware. One of my injuries occured at work and the insurance company wanted to bring my disability, or MMI, down to as low as they could get it. This is an attempt to minimize your injury in dollars they, or the company will be responsible for paying for future medical and income liability.
They will want to settle with you for a dollar amount. Be sure that you don't let them sell out your future medical rights if you do agree for cash settlement. Always keep your medical options open. My case is a little different. I kept going to their doctors until I went for a blood test and they accused me of taking drugs I wasn't. I dropped their services, contacted my lawyer and I'm currently holding them "within the legal system", kind of my way of waiting them out, if you will, while using my own insurance to cover my future needs. I will then bill them later for my extra trouble and effort because they are trying to minimize my injuries.
If your attorney does not have time for you then you may get better results from another one. You can't hire two for this so you will lose what time your case has been waiting within the system if you do this. It's usually best to hold your current ground against these insurance people although it is not unheard of to change attorneys. It is all in how long you can wait according to the legal system and the way the game is played by the insurance attorneys.
Good luck to you.

Your timing may need to be adjusted with a timing light. Sometimes after a carburetor rebuild, the adjustment for the fuel/air may also be too rich causing more fuel to enter the manifold. This could also be a sensor either before or after the catalytic converter but not as likely. I think a check into your plugs, no cracks in the distributor, fuel/air adjustment on the newly rebuilt carb, fuel filter and maybe a timing light/adjustment will make that 78 Toyota run like new. Good luck to you.

There's a couple of easy ways to do this. If you just want to use cold water, no matter what the setting on the washer, buy a 2 way valve, a split for your cold water that feeds both hoses off of one faucet going into the washer. All hardware stores have this splitter and it costs no more than 3 to 5 bucks. It usually attaches without any modification, or adapters to both hoses and the faucet. Keep in mind that most newer washers require both hoses to be connected regardless of the water temperature designation. There should be no need to buy another washer to do what you need done here. This is the same type of splitter that people use to run two or more garden hoses off of one faucet. Good luck.

Why was the Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko murdered, what did he know?
|
|
Discuss this question
|
| Question found in Current Affairs |
 |
After working for the KGB and its successor, the FSB, Litvinenko publicly accused his superiors of ordering the assassination of Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky. He was arrested by Russian authorities, released and later fled to the UK, where he was granted political asylum and citizenship.
Litvinenko published books in the UK, where he described Vladimir Putin's rise to power as a coup d'état organized by the FSB. He stated a key element of FSB's strategy was to frighten Russians by bombing apartment buildings in Moscow and other Russian cities. He alleged the bombings were organized by FSB and blamed on Chechen terrorists to legitimise reprisals using military
force in Chechnya.
Contrary to many news reports, Litvinenko was never a 'spy' and did not deal with secrets beyond information on operations against organized criminal groups.

Why not tell your mom? If you have swelling and pain it may become worse if you don't check with your doctor. Watch out for blood in urine and keep something cold on it to cut down on the swelling. 20 on and 20 off, and for pete's sake, get someone to look at it that knows how to treat this. Also avoid those girls or activities/behavior that causes them to kick you there. Good luck.

My 16 year old daughter has several nosebleeds every month and when she does they are very heavy with very large clots and taking 20 minutes or so to stop. Is there anything to worry about? She had one yesterday which I witnessed at close hand and it was horrendous and she said she felt dizzy afterwards and this worried me.

People are more susceptible to bleeding if they are taking medications which prevent normal blood clotting (Coumadin, warfarin, aspirin, or any anti-inflammatory medication). In this situation, only a very minor trauma could result in significant bleeding.
The incidence of nosebleeds is higher during the colder winter months when upper respiratory infections are more frequent, and the temperature and humidity fluctuate more dramatically. In addition, changes from a bitter cold outside environment to a warm, dry, heated home results in drying and changes in the nose which will make it more susceptible to bleeding. Nosebleeds also occur in hot dry climates with low humidity, or when there is a change in the seasons. The following list of factors predispose people to nosebleeds:
* Infection
* Trauma
* Allergic and non-allergic rhinitis
* Hypertension
* Use of "blood thinning medications"
* Alcohol abuse
* Less common causes include, tumors and inherited bleeding problems
How do you stop the common nosebleed?
Most people who develop nose bleeding can handle the problem without the need of a physician if they follow the recommendations below:
1. Pinch all the soft parts of the nose together between your thumb and index finger.
2. Press firmly toward the face - compressing the pinched parts of the nose against the bones of the face.
3. Hold the nose for at least 5 minutes (timed by the clock). Repeat as necessary until the nose has stopped bleeding.
4. Sit quietly, keeping the head higher than the level of the heart; that is, sit up or lie with the head elevated. Do not lay flat or put your head between your legs.
5. Apply ice (crushed in a plastic bag or washcloth) to nose and cheeks.
I hope this helps and good luck.

You can adjust your security to a more aggressive setting from the control panel under "security". Move the sliders up a notch and see if it helps. Your firewall settings, depending on the software used for it, will help regarding incoming traffic by customization also but it can become cumbersome at times.
