How do I cope with a lazy unloving boyfriend and a house and my 18 month old baby?

If you have only recently found yourself in this dilemma, maybe the boyfriend, house, baby is a huge part of the confusion, or problem. Is the boyfriend a father to the baby but not yet a husband? Does he work and provide as a husband or a father or only like a boyfriend? Lazy to you is because it seems that you are the one doing all of the work. Try to look at it from other points of view, such as from his shoes if you can.
Sometimes we forget the facts as they are and we try to make them appear as a problem to be solved without knowing we have the power to do so when we want. If the house is an issue, then why do you not like the house? If it is what you want, then are you confined to this house because of a baby's current needs? It won't always be this way. Pretty soon it will change and it will be how you handle that change that decides whether or not you are accepting in nature or unhappy with this configuration or, ask him if he is happy. The old saying, "when mom's not happy, then nobody's happy", is true. I also think that all mom's deserve happiness.
You have a lot of responsibility and it's not always easy so you do those things that make them easier in the future by planning. Although we never know what tomorrow holds, we can attempt to plan for it. Get married, move, raise your child the best way possible, find a career when the child goes to school if you want and then you will likely find happiness. All you must be patient with is time. Good luck to you.

Cause and effect. Reactive or proactive. To be or not to be. It seems that there is a reason why, it's the correct interpretation of the results that can sometimes be deceptive.

Hi, My six year old daughter has recently started involuntarily burping very loudly and frequently. This isn't being done as a joke or for attention, in fact, she is quite embarrassed about it. We don't give her fizzy drinks and her diet is normal. What could this be and how can we help stop it? Should we take her to the doctors?

Burping is typically caused by eating or drinking too fast, and thereby swallowing (aerophagia) and subsequently expelling air, in which case the expelled gas is a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen. Burps can also be caused by imbibing carbonated drinks such as beer, soft drinks, or champagne, in which case the expelled gas is carbon dioxide from the drink itself. Gastroesophageal reflux disease can also cause involuntary burping. Some studies[1] have suggested that aerophagia is not the primary culprit but that burping is in fact a learned (social) behaviour.

I am running out of ideas on what is wrong with my K 3500. The truck is overheating and I can't figure out why. I have changed recently the starter, alternator and tensioner system. It has a new belt, which I have rechecked to make sure it is routed properly. The last oil change was done at the time it was overheating, and the oil pan was dropped at this time, I had no water/antifreeze in it so I don't believe it is a head leak. All the hoses are new and are not cracked so I am not leaking there. And I have just put in a new performance thermostat. I am running out of options and I do not want to pull the engine and start from scratch. I wasn't planning on pulling the engine for at least one more year. Any help on why I am overheating? It has me stumped. Thanks.

Without seeing it for myself I can only make suggestions here. The fan should be of the correct size and in balance. The fan clutch must have slight resistance but room for free rotation at stop. There should be no play in the water pump and no weeping or noise, if it is doing this, it's time to replace it. If you have leaking, it is very difficult, but you will have to locate the source with mirrors, a good flashlight and have the ability to get under and around the engine. Sometimes the location of the leak may not be the source since it will travel with the fan running.
The fan shroud should not be improperly installed, missing or damaged. If you have no leaks whatsoever, isolate your heater core and run the engine to see if it gets too hot. You can do this best by bypassing the heater core or just turn the heat(and blower) wide open and see if the engine temperature regulates. Look to see where the heater core hoses join the engine. Some mechanics put too much sealant around the fittings and it tends to clog the connections.
OK, so far no results? Now it's time to take the radiator off and take it to a shop that can rework it. When you get it back you should flush the whole system. We're not done yet............check all hoses visibly and internally for obstructions, heater hoses radiator hoses, etc. Replace them accordingly. When you are finished, put the correct ratio of antifreeze to water mixture back into the truck. 'Water only' will not work because it can hide other problems such as the one you are having with this vehicle.
All of this is assuming that you have already replaced the thermostat. The vehicle may have a large obstruction of deposits in the engine. This can be from incorrect gaskets restricting the flow or an attempt by a previous owner to cover up an existing problem before selling it to the next poor soul. Keep trying and let me know what you find. If I can't help you I will find someone who can. Good luck.

Thanks, I was thinking of the water pump myself. It is the only belt driven part I havn't replaced. It doesn't seem bad though and I had no idea where to look next. Now at least I may be able to fix this problem and still be able to finish upgrades for the car show season.

Check your sound card by using headphones. If you have sound it will be the speakers power or connection. If not, it is most likely an incorrect setting or worst case, the sound card may be defective. Most PC's have a on/off setting in the BIOS. Check your manual for this and it will guide you in troubleshooting it as well.

This may sound corny, but I recently bought a fresh pineapple because of my sweet tooth and the curiosity of wanting to grow my own. I ate the whole thing and actually will be adding more to the very few fruits I do keep at home. It is much better than I remembered and I can't think of anything I've tasted so sweet in a long time. It has curbed my appetite for the chocolate that I know is waiting for me in the kitchen. I actually look forward to the next one which surprises even me.
I have a very damaged back and neck but I also have an energetic German Shepherd who loves to walk. Although it hurts me physically every time to do this, I will take her for walks at least twice a week. As a former lineman, my legs require activity but cannot handle too much so I also bought another motorcycle after 12 years of not having one. The purpose of it is for increased balance and strength, increased heart rate, adrenaline and blood-flow to my legs mainly. It's a cruiser but heavy enough to slowly introduce me back into some kind of exercise.
These are just some ideas but everyone has their own methods for doing this and maybe it will help you. Good luck to you.

I am told electromagnetic waves have two components at right angles - a magnetic field and an electrical field. I was always told that an electrical field is created when a current flows-say within a wire. So how can a wave have an electrical field when no particles such as electrons are present?

Your answer will still always be the amount, type of, or the presence of resistance. Electrons and the change in their environment, for example, lightning and the path followed, determines the amount EMF generated. Read a little about the shadows created from the atomic blasts in Japan during world war 2.
