In the spring of 2007 I suffered pneumonia which pretty much trashed my lungs. Since 2003 I have been diagnosed with COPD (Emphysema) so I don't smoke anymore. Thus I am no longer am able to teach. I belong to EFFORTS an on line support listserve (www.emphysema.net).
