Can anybody help me identify a documentary I saw a few years ago which told the story of a tanker ship being caught in a storm and the efforts of both the coast guard and helicopters to rescue the few people on board. I seem to remember that the ships captain had his wife and child on board. It was a terrible storm and repeated attempts were made to rescue the crew and passengers but unfortunately the wind and waves broke up and sunk the ship and the helicopter crashed into the sea with the lives of all on board lost. I believe it was a British documentary and the tragedy happened somewhere in the north sea?
